The role of Gantt Chart within innovation management
Innovation Cloud's Summer release now includes a Gantt chart, which provides a visual representation of tasks, dependencies, and resources needed throughout the innovation process. This efficient tool helps Innovation Managers, Leaders, Project Managers, and other control freaks to plan and manage their projects, while giving them full control over NPD activities. Gantt charts were first introduced in 1896 by Polish engineer Karol Adamiecki and later enhanced by American mechanical engineer and management consultant Henry Gantt, whose name is associated with the tool. With a Gantt chart, it is easier to plan and monitor innovation progress, assign tasks and resources and track progress, ensuring that the innovation is launched on time and on budget.
