Automated Innovation
Can machines innovate like humans? No, according to Hubert L. Dreyfus, unless we can overcome the limitations of artificial intelligence. While machines can break down products and services into their components and apply innovation templates, they can't find novel and beneficial aspects of abstract solutions. But humans could become more systematic and logical when innovating by perfecting the use of innovation tools and processes. Instead of making computers more human-like, we could make humans more computer-like in their approach to innovation.
