Sofia Calling

Innovation agency, 100%Open, prototyped their new venture, UrbanEast, in Sofia, Bulgaria. Initially created as part of a master course at Goldsmiths, the idea was taken up by 100%Open after they recognized the potential of exploring and discovering the city's hidden gems. Using a Blueprint tool, the first phase involved designing the UrbanEast service, Creative Walks, and systematically planning how to fit the components together. The second phase involved a two-day insider’s cultural experience exploring the local culture and engaging with creative entrepreneurs. In the final phase, the team used interviews and the 100%Open Prototype Evaluator tool to better understand how to improve their service. They learned that getting to know the customer quickly and constantly interacting with them is important for any project.
