Danish hygge through innovation
Superkilen is a public park that opened in 2007 as part of an urban makeover project in Copenhagen's Nørrebro district. Designed with Danish innovation, the park provides a cool public space for the surrounding community. Comprising 57 different elements, each with a backstory from the object's origin, design, and usability, Superkilen fosters engagement and enjoyment for its diverse community of over 50 nationalities. The red, black, and green sections of Superkilen showcase the multicultural nature of Nørrebro while promoting inclusiveness and diversity in the public sector.
