The LAB: Innovating Your Wallet Using S.I.T. (December 2009)

Wallets are deeply personal items that convey a lot about the owner. The wallet industry is worth billions of dollars and continues to innovate with new designs. Six unique wallet concepts were created by graduate students at the University of Cincinnati using the S.I.T. innovation method. These concepts include a financial wallet featuring real-time personal finance data, an armor wallet with advanced security features, a trendsetter wallet that matches fashion to mood, a shopper's paradise wallet that saves money while shopping, a globetrotter wallet with built-in travel features, and a fitness wallet designed to optimize workouts.
