Planview's Sixth Product Portfolio Management Benchmark Study, conducted by Tech-Clarity, reveals the critical role of data-driven decision making in meeting launch dates and revenue targets. However, nearly one-third of product professionals surveyed reported that their data was inaccurate, and 36% said their data was not timely. Companies should aim to remove the obstacles to obtaining reliable data in order to unlock product innovation and dynamically adapt to changing market conditions. Top performers exploit timely and accurate data access, with a single source of truth for decision-making which resulting in almost 60% more likely having immediate access to accurate data.
