Berlin's Soft Power: leading by innovating (1/2)

Berlin may not have the strongest economical power, but the city boasts a cultural atmosphere and creative spirit that makes it an unrivaled center for innovation. One of the places driving this innovation is Hub:raum, the international incubator of Deutsche Telekom. With an emphasis on seed and early-stage funding, as well as developing partnerships and mentoring opportunities, Hub:raum has become a hub for start-ups looking to build great products and make meaningful connections. While not focused on social media or gaming, Hub:raum has accelerated 37 start-ups, completed 10 investments, and even won the Best Accelerator award. Their vision is to use start-ups to transform the organization, while building a portfolio that pays for the organization's operational expenses and attracts talent.
