The innovation word within the World Economic Forum
The world economic forum’s annual meeting in Davos features the term “innovation” 47 times on its agenda. This emphasizes the importance of innovation and its role in economics, social and business development. The forum features a variety of discussions for four days including Unleashing Entrepreneurial Innovation, Financing Innovation and Entrepreneurship in China, and Scaling social innovation for greater impact. The discussions center around the themes of leading through adversity, restoring economic dynamism, and strengthening societal resilience to improve and establish the necessary solutions to economic and social woes. It is suggested that executive innovation work outs, like the “Executive Innovation Work Mat series”, can help resolve innovation vertigo experienced by leaders in the innovation space.
