Moving innovation into our Core- Part One

Innovation management needs an overhaul in order to provide sustainable growth and future wellbeing for organizations. Innovation needs to be made more central to organizations' thinking, decision making, and management in the systems and processes that give it the chance to thrive. The lack of a robust innovation management system on an enterprise-wide scale makes it difficult to deliver transformative innovation in a dynamic and adaptive way. There is a need for integration between Idea Management and Portfolio Management systems to manage resources for innovation. A holistic enterprise-wide innovation process is needed to achieve this.
