Is Your Innovation a Step, Jump or Vault?
Innovation can be categorized based on the amount of energy and experience required to create it. Step functions are easy, but they don't offer much competitive advantage. Jumps require more energy and experience, but can still be achieved by most people. Vaulting, however, requires a lot of energy, experience, and enthusiasm. To achieve true innovation, teams must first define their goals and then create the necessary energy, experience, and enthusiasm to achieve them.
