Organizations with top-down, command-and-control structures are often hindered in their ability to innovate due to the fear-based mindsets of those who edit and review presentations for higher-ups. These fearful individuals are often rewarded for maintaining the status quo, stifling innovation and limiting potential growth. To overcome this, teams must cultivate curiosity and openness, undertake a discovery process, and be willing to take risks and experience failure.
