11 female innovation leaders share their definition of innovation
To celebrate International Women’s Day, 11 female innovation leaders were asked to share their definitions of innovation, along with insights into what they believe companies often get wrong when it comes to innovation, and thoughtful suggestions on how companies can change their perspective on innovation. The experts noted that innovation is about creating something new that adds value - whether it's a product, process, service, or business model. They also emphasized that companies often fall victim to "innovation theatre" and don’t dedicate enough time or resources to practicing innovative behavior. To avoid this, companies must build practices that can help transform new things into their future, develop a culture of creative and critical thinking, and create a lingua franca for innovation within their organizations.
