Story of Perseverance and Courage Will Inspire Horizons Attendees
Patricia Walsh, a severe brain tumor survivor who lost the bulk of her sight at 14, used athletics to build her self-esteem, inspiring her to pursue a career in technology. She became one of the first blind engineers at Microsoft, and has since held positions in enterprise architecture and program management at global companies. Her keynote address at the Horizons Conference will cover her approaches to achieving positive outcomes under any circumstances. The conference will gather over 600 attendees from virtually every industry for three days of educational sessions, networking, and training.
