Innovators must possess a beginner's mind and approach problems or opportunities with fresh eyes. Ignorance is not plausible in today's world of abundant data and resources, but arrogance is a common barrier to innovation discovery. Innovators must let go of their arrogance and interact with customers to gain insights and discover needs. From those observations, potential solutions can be created and tested through experiments.
