Amdocs Shapers: Bringing Breakthrough Ideas to Life
Amdocs initiated the Shapers program to stay ahead of consumer demands and anticipate Generation Z’s preferred way to consume and interact with content. The program's three phases included selecting people over their ideas, ideation and hothousing, and validation with VC mentoring. The Shapers team was stretched to their limits with pace, but the program also made way for a life-long psychological change. One of the ideas was adopted and added to the Amdocs product roadmap, and the Shapers are now delivering company-wide lectures and mentor the next generation of Shapers. Multidisciplinary co-creation, people-first selection, and pressure cooker sprints to shape action are the key takeaways.
